We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician able to perform preventative maintenance as well as emergency repairs to a conveyor line. This position is a "hands on" maintenance position. Must be able to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude. PTI specializes in coatings of automotive components. The ideal candidate would hold diversified skills in order to repair and maintain production equipment.

Job Description

- Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service.

- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

- Demonstrates skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of conveyor system and pumps.

- Reads and interprets manuals, schematics and prints. Schedules and prioritizes work according to urgency and work orders.

- Comply with OSHA and IOSHA Safety and Health rules.

- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Minimum Experience Required:

• 2 years’ experience in maintenance work
• Training and/or certifications in the maintenance field
• Ability to use computers (Microsoft Office, Email, Web Search)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

• Ability to stand, kneel, and lift throughout the shif

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
